The pilot is one of the most admired profession. Pilots have to know what they are doing. They know exactly how the aircraft behaves at any circumstance. They are well trained. Lives depend on them.
Our IT solutions complexity is increasing. The speed of business requirements’ changes is also increasing. The role of technical teams is more and more similar to a pilot - ensuring a smooth flight of business in any circumstance.
Every pilot has to go through flying lessons. Theory alone isn’t enough. Flying simulators allow to create unusual situations and the pilot can learn to react properly.
We at ByteLife Solutions believe that this is also true in IT. Therefore, together with our partners we have invested in Demo center. The aim is very similar to a flight simulator – train IT people, let them feel the solution and learn its’ behavior. We believe that PowerPoint is not enough in order to learn how to fly even the simplest aircraft and it’s not enough to choose right IT solution either.
Demo center is a collection of virtual servers in all Baltic countries hosted by Bytelife Solutions. Standard EMC software environment has been implemented on those servers, allowing customers to study the product, test it and use it to give live presentations to their customers. The same time more complicated installations, to test different combinations of software; migrations etc are also available on demand.
